The Rage Vol 2.0
Artist: Various
Label: Worthless Records
Length: 21 tracks/71:45 minutes

The CD came with an article from the Phoenix New Times with the headline--"Never Mind the Blasphemy--Valley Hard-Core Kids Mosh for the Lord" The article goes on the discuss the Phoenix Christian section and The Rage youth festival that takes place every summer in Phoenix.  While this is only the second compilation released, the fest has been around--this was the sixth year. Hopefully, both will continue in the future. And if moshing is your thing, trust me you'll have no trouble finding music to mosh to here.  There is a lot of good well produced music here--everything from ska, dance, modern rock.  This is a respectful sample of the music available in the Christian market today and it will give you a nice slice of the Arizona scene.  A few of the bands are familiar like Fine China, Speck, The Corbans, and Michelangelo and the Difference--some you will have never heard of. Some you are sure to want to hear more of. Incidentally, two of last years bands were signed to KMG and several had cuts on other compilations. Sure, like most compilation, you'll love some of the cuts and hate others but that's what makes comps fun.  Here there is a little for everyone. Do your part to support the Arizona scene and The Rage--pick up your copy today.
