You Are  So Good to Me

A year ago Enter the Worship Circle was released independently.  While many praise and worship offerings contain covers of well-known worship standards, Enter the Worship Circle features original songs written by 100 Portraits (a indie alterna-folk duo) and Waterdeep (Squint).  All of the songs were recorded live and unplugged and the instrumentation is composed solely of acoustic guitars and the rhythms of hand drums.  The project has a cohesiveness feel to it but its main problem is there isn't enough variety as the songs all seem to flow into one another.  Next time try for a little more variety. Still, if you are involved in worship, you are sure to want to give this album a listen as this is the real thing without having all those over used CCM cliches.
