Mueller's
Musings: A Look at December 2002 Releases
After several months of feast,
we now head in to the traditional holiday famine. December and January
are usually a bit slower in terms of new releases, and this year is par
for the course. Most of the notable releases this month are more
for hardcore fans and audiophiles. On December 17th, Dashboard Confessional
releases an MTV Unplugged disc with an accompanying DVD. That same
day sees special releases from Emmylou Harris and New Order. New
releases of note include Denison Witmer on 12/10, as well as the original
soundtrack to this months blockbuster film, The Lord of the Rings: The
Two Towers. Fans of hard rock will enjoy new releases from Justifide
and Few Left Standing the day before Christmas.
