Artist:  The Offering
Label:  Indie
Length: 12 Tracks

The praise music of the 60's and 70's left an indelible mark on the Christian music culture and this mark can be heard through the worship music of The Offering.  Headquartered at Rochester College, this band is comprised of college students including Ameen Kadri on bass, Beth Bowers and Nadine Taylor on vocals, and Ryan Koral on vocals and guitar.

Acoustics dominate this band's worship sound and keep them bound within the same format as the majority of church worship bands being independently produced today.  Vocally, The Offering does not set themselves apart, but maybe this wasn't their intent to begin with.  The band's goal is to provide an "outlet where God's people can answer Him through singing or through silence, by kneeling or bowing, in the lifting of hands or the lifting of hearts."

So, if you find real praise solace in the worship sound of the Jesus Movement , this is the CD you will want to find.  The worship songs are familiar and you can sing along with "Alle," "God of Wonders," "Breathe," and "You're Worthy of My Praise" to name a few.
