  Falling
Artist: Sarah Notley
Label: Indie
Length: 7/29:34
They say it’s better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all
They have never walked in your shoes
They have never felt the fall
So writes Sarah Notley in “You Were Wrong,” a song from her EP _Falling_, which concentrates on relationships, breakups, and the pitfalls of both.

“Beyond Jordan” leads off the CD, showing off Notley doing her best Edie Brickell imitation.  “Falling Into You” is as good as anything on the radio these days, and establishes Notley as a woman who needs to be heard, much like Eileen Rose or Beki Hemingway.

“My Chosen Name” and “Something Familiar” take on a more country flavor, if Jewel ever decided to go in that direction.  Falling shows promise, and creates an interest in hearing more from this artist.
