Musings: A Look at October 2003 Releases
Well, due to a new job in
a new location and the accompanying move, I've been out of commission
for the past month. But hey, I'm back! Unfortunately the move means
I don't have a lot of "disposable" income to go out and buy CDs, but hopefully
you do as there are some great discs out this month. On the 7th look
for new discs from Death Cab for Cutie, and a pair of discs from the prolific
Howie Gelb. Then on the 21st there are three remastered discs from
Bruce Cockburn, all including extra songs. Also that day look for
a new blues oriented album from Van Morrison. Finally, the month
ends with a bang on the 28th with the long awaited third full-length release
from Wheat. I can't wait to hear that one. Also that day will
see the release of the new Wycleff Jean, and a greatest hits package from
REM that includes lots of previously unreleased material. So here
