  Far Cry From Failure
Artist:  The Last Farewell
Label: Framework Records
Time: 9 tracks/37:10

The energy, the passion, the poetic melody that just captures you, and then the hardcore throwdown. The Last Farewell does all this on their debut release with Framework Records (which is also Framework's debut). Just when you think that the melody will be just so much of a wimpy thing, they come in and knock you into the dirt, face first. The Last Farewell carries the same passion as Underoath and almost as much as Hopesfall. With this effort, the band aims high to not fail the fans and to help launch a record label, all at the same time. This is currently one of my favorite CDs. I've been spinning it and it doesn't disappoint (even though  they could have added one more song). Current status of band, though: Broken up.
