  Parade
Artist: Go Fish
Label: InPop Records
Length: 11 tracks/42:11 minutes

Go Fish is back! Well, okay, so they were back in December of 2002 when this album was released...but hey, a review is better late than never right?

As I was saying; Go Fish is back with their latest release, Parade, and it brings forth a lot of mixed reactions. While the group are all very talented guys vocally, it seems things have been almost overdone and over-produced on this album. There is so much going on all of the time musically in the background, and then you have the guys singing almost acappella-like in the foreground, it just doesn't mix that well.

It's unfortunate too, because this could have been such a good album as (like I said earlier) these guys have talent vocally, plus they can write some good lyrics as well. If they had just toned things down a bit so it didn't sound so overdone, this album could have been a real winner.

Nonetheless, there will definitely be those who will love this album. I have found some of the songs catchy myself, and enjoyable to listen to for the most part. But the problem mentioned previously is just too big to forget. Here's hoping things will be toned down a bit for their next album.
