  That They May Know You
Artist: Haste the Day
Label: Independent
Time: 7 tracks/31:21

Now, some bands can just get a crowd riled, but this band actually can play as well. Coming out of Indiana, Haste The Day is starting to create a small, powerful following. Featured in various samplers and CD reviews is their new CD, That They May Know You. It has seven songs: one instrumental, two melodic hardcore, one melodic, and three songs of total hardcore brutality. The last show that I saw them in at Cornerstone was actually by accident. A few higher-up press were there that the band attracted because the "stage" that they were playing on was a generator stage. Why would that be so important?  The generator cut out three plus times and the band just kept on going. Talk about a band that can play!  All this and the mosh pit never stopped. Plus Haste The Day puts such a message into their lyrics about the truth of Christ that it just makes me smile. If you're into the Christian hardcore world and haven't heard about them, you sure will in the future.
