  Beautiful Lumps of Clay
Artist: Plumb
Label: Curb Records
Tracks: 12/41:05

With the exception of a best of collection it has been four years since we have had an album's worth of new material from Tiffany Arbuckle Lee's band Plumb. Let me just say right off the top that the wait has been well worth it. Forget about Stacie, Jaci, and Rebecca, or any of the other wannabes out there; this is the real deal. If anything has happened over the last few years, Plumb has gotten better and better. Her writing along with that of her co-writers has given us a collection of twelve pop and rock gems. Plumb either co-wrote or wrote all of the tunes on the album and there isn't a dud among them.

I remember seeing her play live on a Jars of Clay tour supporting her first two releases and thoroughly enjoying the energy and stage presence of this rock goddess. I can only assume that her stage persona has grown with her writing and singing abilities. Her basic backing group consists of: Paul Moak on guitars, Tracy Ferrie on bass, Michael Jones on drums and Jay Joyce on keys. If this is also going to be her road band than this is going to be a heck of a live show.

With a new label and a new album let's hope that this Plumb stays ripe for many a season. Check out her web site at www.plumbinfo.com
