  Twilight
Artist: Shaun Groves
Label: Rocketown Records
Length: 11 tracks/42:33 minutes

Shaun Groves is back with his sophomore release Twilight, which hits store shelves August 5th, 2003, via Rocketown Records.

The first thing that is noticeable, other than Groves’s enjoyable vocals and talent for crafting great lyrical content, is the fact that he’s cut back on the rock sound. Sure, there are still some traces of a bit of a rock edge on a few tracks, but overall it’s a much softer and quieter tone. This may be a disappointment for some, especially those that are rock fans, but it still doesn’t mean the entire album has gone down the drain by any means.

With Monroe Jones (Third Day, Chris Rice, Ginny Owens) at the producing helm, Groves has another great album under his belt. It may not have the rockier edge we were hoping for, but it’s still solid nonetheless due to the well crafted tracks and catchy tunes. Fans of adult contemporary music should definitely consider checking it out.
