Re:Worship
Artist: Re:Zound
Label: WF Inc Records
Time: 12 Tracks/ 51:33 min

Pushing the accolades of being "MTV's #1 Undiscovered Band of 2001" and numerous mainstream offers to the side, Re:Zound is set to release its next album titled Re:Worship. The band's sound has been compared to the likes of mainstream giants Linkin Park and Creed, but with a contemporary Christian attitude. Front man Jason Andersen said that the main goal for the new album was an offering of more "praise and worship."

Re:Worship stays true to the goals and ideals of the band. The new album still offers listeners the heavy guitar sound found on the previous albums, but adds a more heart-felt message that drives straight for the soul. The dropped-down tuning of the guitars and heavy riffs are enough to draw you in and hold you while the vocals fill you with praise. A few of the stand-out songs on the album are "Hallelujah," "With All My Heart," "Forever," and "Always."

Fans of the last album Breathe may have to take a step back from listening to Re:Worship before they realize that the heavy sound is still there. As long as heavy rock becomes even more recognized by the contemporary Christian society, Re:Zound, along with the new album Re:Worship, will be a force to be reckoned with. Re:Worship takes a bold step in the direction of offering a mainstream rock sound with a Christian message.
