Fifty-Four
Artist: Fifty-Four Label: Indie My expectations weren't met by this CD, and that's a good thing. I went in knowing only that Fifty-four was started by Pat Servidio and John Zalatel, both formerly of Klank. Knowing only this, I was expecting Numb Part II. While there's still a good bit of electronic and industrial here, the production assistance of Mr. Fingaz, a major presence in the New York hip-hop club scene, adds a nice touch. It's not an album that I'd play a lot, but it's a nice change of pace. Josh Marihugh 2/26/2004
