When the Blood and Dust Settles
Artist: Bigger Than Dallas
Label: Indie
Tracks/Time: 12 tracks

This CD deserves to be backed by a label, however, right after Eleven:Eleven Records released _When the Blood and Dust Settles_, the label folded. So, now Bigger Than Dallas is in a predicament as they have to peddle this release DIY (do it yourself).

This CD is diverse, pulling tightly together acoustic guitars, a western backing, harmonious vocals, rock, and pieces of Americana. It shows a band that knows how to lay down this more down to earth music under lyrics that speak on themes of blood on our hands (sins), and the results left behind in the dust.

Varying in speeds and sounds, one song may have a westernized folk picking, and the next one will be a female/male ballad. Slow or fast, it's a rockin' Americana work of art. The down to earth feel, the diversity, along with great vocals and instruments, are reasons to go out and buy this release.
