  While We Wait
Artist:  Koo Chung
Label:  brokenforgood Records
Length:  11 Tracks, 41.36

Koo Chung has popped out of the musical chute with his tasty debut project While We Wait.  Fans of Bebo Norman, Justin McRoberts, Michelle Branch and Caedmon’s call will enjoy Chung’s acoustic musings as he shares his love of Christ mixed with heaping helpings of slice-of-life snapshots.  The songs are likable and the music is solid acoustic-based pop/rock (with some nifty sonic touches and embellishments), but the strength of the project is Mr. Chung’s vocals.

While We Wait is the comfy kind of CD you want to pop on while sipping coffee in your favorite chair.  It has a relaxed and breezy feel that satisfies, and feels good flowing in your ears.   Koo Chung’s debut is a solid independent release that will not disappoint fans of mature acoustic Christian rock.
