  Me and My Shadow
Artist: Michael Misiuk
Label: Red Moon Records
Length: 11/41:53

_Me and My Shadow_ is mostly acoustic alt country, with Misiuk’s guitar work surpassing the quality of his vocals.  His voice can be described as somewhat like Mitch McVicker’s, with a higher pitch.  Unfortunately, he shows little range, instead preferring to same in the same tone on almost every song, and at times becomes almost boring.

“Sixteen Candles” borrows its guitar line from Johnny Cash, while “Numb” is more like Jonathan Rundman in style.  The latter, along with “Hang On,” are the best tracks here.  Misiuk’s voice is at its best when harmonizing with the various female guest vocalists on the CD, especially on “Reason.”
