Purity
Artist: Null Factor Label: Ballistic Test Time: 11 Tracks/ 50:51 min Originally known as MiLLENiA back in the 90s, Null Factor along with original member Dan Harvell, is picking up where their predecessor left off. Null Factor has used the modern tools of the Internet to get their name and music out, by utilizing the services of mp3.com and having the support of Ballistic Test; formerly just a "virtual label". With the success of two mp3.com CDR releases Remodulated and Calculating the Human Form, Null Factor is ready to release their first pro cd entitled Purity. Purity is an electro industrial album that offers up little more than a rave party mix with an edge. The style of music and the beats conjure up thoughts of glowsticks and strobe lights. The vocals, while keeping true to the electronic theme by sounding synthesized, are barely audible at times and have too much of a Marilyn Manson feel throughout the cd. The positive side of Purity is that it is good enough that it could possibly be mixed and sampled by Dj's. Eric Stephens 2/10/2004
