  Here Comes the Devastation
Artist: Andy Squyres
Label: None
Time: 12 tracks

Worship music, upbeat, to an Alt-Rock frontage, and a great utilization of instruments and vocals. *It may not sound much like it, considering the title of the CD.*

Christians are called to worship in many different ways. Here's a musical example of different. Andy Squyres mixes in an understanding that Jesus is Lord, a love of music and worship. Throwing in upbeat worship, slow/tranquil worship, and in between garage grunge. Here Comes the Devastation talks about life, our sins, that Jesus redeems those sins, and the power of that relationship with Jesus with honesty, sincerity, and declaration of the love of the Lord. The influences are alt rock, and classic 80s rock played by pianos, acoustic guitar, electronic sampling backgrounds, violins, and drums. Not really gospel in style, the project lays down a love for the Lord in the way Squyres knows. Upbeat honesty and love tie this CD together beautifully. Andy Squyres may be one of the best unknown worship vocalists on the scene today
