yet another outstanding modern worship compilation -- this time for kids.
Here I Am To Worship for Kids serves up legitimate, full-out worship
songs that are right on par with versions recorded by adult favorites like
Tim Hughes, SONICFLOOd, Third Day and Matt Redman. These are far from “dumbed
down,” cheesy Sunday School songs. The 10 familiar worship anthems on this
collection feature well-produced instrumental tracks with professional
arrangements complemented by very natural sounding (not overly sweet) young
vocalists. Parents who are fans of other Worship Together collections will
appreciate hearing beloved songs like “Open the Eyes of My Heart,”
The most convincing testimony I can offer regarding Here I Am To Worship for Kids is this: My 9-month-old daughter seems to truly enjoy this CD! I guess it’s never too early to start nurturing the human need to worship. Greg Adams 2/29/04
