Audio Adrenaline
Vaughn, Ontario, Canada.

The crowd was stoked and ready to rock as the music started to play and the audience could still only see the silhouettes of the Audio Adrenaline band members behind a pale illuminated curtain. Instead of rising the curtain dropped with their fans already clapping in rhythm to the music.

Audio Adrenaline fronted by lead vocalist Mark Stuart performed thirteen songs covering their more than thirteen years of solid rock music. The band played songs from several albums including; Underdog, Don’t Censor Me, Worldwide, and Lift as they played before a near capacity crowd in Vaughn, Ontario, Canada.

Stuart worked the fans into a frenzy when he left the stage during the song "Big House" from their album Don’t Censor Me. Adorned in a cowboy hat he made his way through the crowd walking on the backs of seats while singing, microphone in hand, stopping several times to scream “I love Canada.”

Stuart’s vocals were backed by the incredible guitar work of Tyler Burkum and bassist Will McGinniss. Ben Cissell was his usual spectacular self on drums.

Unlike some rock bands that are fronted by a gravelly voiced vocalist with borderline talent, Stuart possesses a very good voice and it was particularly noticeable on the song "Leaving Ninety-Nine" from the album Worldwide. This song can best be described as a love
song from our Lord to those who do not yet know Him. It is taken directly from the passage which talks about the shepherd leaving the ninety-nine sheep to look for the one that is lost.

Stuart introduced the song "Dirty" from Worldwide by challenging each member of the audience with, “We are looking for
believers who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty for Jesus Christ.” It was a fitting intro for lyrics that equally challenge the listener;

You might get a bruise or some blisters on your fingers
You might start a question and wonder what it’s worth
You may slip and fall from the burdens that you carry
But you can’t have this treasure
'til you dig it from the dirt
Come on, come on everybody
Come on, come on and serve someone
During the concert the band called several members of the audience on stage to sing parts of songs. Your reviewer met one such fellow the following day and he was still star struck.

On a night that featured several top caliber bands Audio Adrenaline was worth the price of admission by themselves. Singing some of their greatest hits such as Ocean Floor, illuminating the stage with an awesome light show and all the pyrotechnics you could want this band lived up to the words of their own song "Worldwide": One which they sang;

Four corn-fed boys from the heartland
Brought together for some rock 'n' roll
From Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri and Ohio
Tonight we're gonna put on a show
