Worship albums a-plenty! Although worship is a great thing, worship albums are a dime a dozen these days (no really...just check eBay.) Most worship leaders record an album. Even the most famous Christian artists are almost required by their record companies to record a worship album- Jennifer Knapp famously said "No."

That said, I have also come to expect worship albums to be joyful noise, but not to be very good. They are sort of like promotional items, a Christian artist's equivalent to a music video. Challenger Deep, on the other hand, is actually really good. Though most of the songs were written by Debi McMurray, the album is a giant group effort by a very talented worship team. It seems that 15-20 people contributed to this album, and it's a good one.
