Is Dope Smoothie even trying? This Seattle band throws down the gauntlet on its home state’s grunge past with a nonchalance reverence of all things Cobain whilst keeping things fairly eclectic. With vivid imagination, one could definitely see Cobain playing songs like "Feeb," "Go Strike," and "Sea Cow" ten years after surviving that shotgun in the mouth. Not being morbid just painting a picture.
