Artist: Everlife Label: Shelter Records Length: 10 tracks Bubble-gum pop, meet Everlife – three sisters on a mission to share the good news with anyone who will listen. With their self-titled debut, Julia, Sarah, and Amber Ross have already made enough noise to land a superhot chance to record the theme song for Disney’s Go Figure, a made-for-TV movie. Listening Everlife, it’s clear why this trio is attracting as much attention as they are. Smooth vocals and strong lyrics combine with mainstream quality music, completing the package. Add producers Kevan Cyka (Lifehouse, REM, Hilary Duff) and Dan Needham (Stacie Orrico, Steven Curtis Chapman) and you’ve got one hip release! “Heaven Open Your Eyes” kicks off the album in a big way and sets the scene for the remaining tracks. “I’m Over It,” also receiving heavy airplay on Radio Disney, is not only one of the best songs on the record, but also arrived at #4 on the Billboard Children's Chart and entered the Billboard Top 200 at an impressive #56. “Save Me” slows things down a bit and lets the sisters explore their vocal ranges a bit and track 10, “Angels Cry” provides a melodic, sweet finale to a worthy initial release. Parents of preteen girls get ready – you’ll be hearing a lot more from Everlife in the near future! Kerry Maffeo 6/4/2005
