Live
Artist: Glenn Kaiser Band
Label: GrrrRecords
Length: 12 Tracks/72:21

Folks, get ready to go back to school when you check out Glenn Kaiser Band’s latest release Live…one quick listen and you will be catapulted to the Blues Academy for some schooling by three masters of the craft.  Glenn Kaiser Band's Live offers a hefty dose of electrified Chicago blues with enough rocking guitar solos to satisfy the soul of anyone who loves blues-rock.  Glenn Kaiser is one of rocks finest vocalists (in mainstream OR Christian rock), and his soulful & rock-solid blues belting would be enough to make this CD a must have, but the addition of a fine rhythm section (Roy Montroy on booming blues bass & Ed Bialach on drums) make for a power trio on par with rock’s finest.  And I’m not just saying that ‘cause I am a fan.  The proof is in the rocking, and the blues rocking on Live is hotter than a Kentucky barbecue in the middle of August.  For an added bonus, guitar phenom Dave Beegle joins the boys for some startling dual guitar jams.

Recommended cuts are the slide-guitar laced standard “Crossroads,” “If I Leave this World Tomorrow” with a guitar so soulful you can almost hear it speaking to you; “Whisper,” a classic-rocking prayer with a powerful vocal turn from Kaiser and some wild guitar tones that’ll stick to your bones; and the powerful slow burn-to smoking hard “Do Lord.”

Fans of Cream, Led Zep, Aerosmith, Rez Band and just about any classic Chicago-blues band will love this CD full of hot rockin’, foot stompin’, string-bending, finger-licking, Gospel boogie blues rock CD.
