From Hamburg, Arkansas to the White House is quite a giant step. That's exactly what the Martins have accomplished in the past ten years and their CD _Decade_ documents the musical journey. Many of the group's hits, concert and fan favs and previously unreleased tracks grace his collection.

The Martins-siblings Joyce, Judy, and Jonathan- have been a Christian music favorites for years. We can talk about their picture perfect harmonies,  their incredible versatility, their down to earth presentation, and their numerous awards. But what I like best is their consistent love of the Lord in song, their encouragement to believers and the awareness of their talent.

Where do we start with these seventeen tracks? The group was raised on the old hymns. Take, for instance, "Gentle Shepherd/Leaning on the Everlasting Arms." The accapella intro is breath-taking. The country-ish arrangement of the song is so creative the way it weaves the two songs together. They do the same with "Grace"  with a more contemporary twist.Let's talk about versatility. We can stay with the hymns for a moment because the big band/swing version of "Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho" is astounding. "There's Not A Crown" is quite contemporary with reminders of Crystal Lewis.

There are lots of other tracks that are hymns-as such, but these guys are singing to the Lord using  their God given talent no matter what they sing. this is the standard of the Martins-and we have been spoiled by it. Expect it on each and every track.
