For progressive metal, Answers is an accessible album while still retaining solid instrumentals including impressive guitar and keyboard solos from Leon Ozug and Tim Becker, respectively, while new band member Chad Lenig performs yeoman’s work on the drums.  Comparisons with Dream Theater can be heard throughout as well as a hearkening to Rush’s “One Little Victory” in “The Way of Death.”  The song-writing, album arrangement, and musicianship are high quality.  The album’s only weakness is that the vocals are a bit too thin and clean (especially given the angst in the lyrics) with the notable exception of Mike Miseno’s guest lead vocals on “End Game.”
