The King's Court is a music company that supplies just about everything to the buyer. For example, this CD, His Name Is Jesus, can also be purchased in editions of Vocal, Harmony, Instrumental Parts, Midi, Percussion, Director, Harmony, Piano/Vocal, Piano Performance/Rehearsal Trax, Orchestral Trax and Sheet Music. Whatever the size of your choir or music group or just solo work, the music is available.
Will Goldstein composes and records his own music. On this CD, the songs are based on Scripture with titles such as "Holy Spirit Come" (Acts 2:1-4) or "The Shepherd Of My Soul" (Psalm 23.) The arrangements are well done with interwoven melodies, structured harmony and pleasant lyrics. It is the quality of the CD, itself, that bothers me. In selections 1-3, "Holy Spirit Come," "Come Worship Him," and "We Worship You" the female voice(s) were faint and as a result I couldn't understand all of the lyrics. "I Exalt You, Lord" was better and "His Name Is Jesus" is a highlight with strong harmonies. In track nine, "Treasures In Heaven," the male singer is hard to understand, and thus it goes, which is unfortunate, as there is a great deal of talent here waiting to be heard.
