An
Opiate for Angels
Artist: An Opiate for Angels Label: Independent Length: 10 Tracks/30.52 Minutes Are you in the market for some creative spiritual rock with a poetic message that captivates? _An Opiate for Angels_ just might do the trick! The debut self-titled full length CD presents ten tracks of mighty good rock that reminds me of a more artful and alternative Soundgarden or Audioslave (primarily due to vocal similarities). _An Opiate for Angels_ features a heavier-tinged college alt/rock sound with some nice progressive and creative elements. The CD is wrapped in a nice package resembling an old, yellowed envelop. I like the inscription in the cover: To those whom are still searching. We hope this parcel arrives in time to assist you with your search. Enclosed are some items that proved useful during our journey. You won’t find us here anymore, we’re moving on. We’re not quite ready to return home yet. The AOFA live show features an artist creating poignant pieces while the band plays. Pretty cool concept! Check out AOFA at: http://www.an-opiate-for-angels.com/ Barry Nothstine Barry Nothstine hosts Soul
Frequency (http://www.soulfrequency.com ) a weekly FM radio show showcasing
progressive rock, instrumental rock, power-pop, psychedelic rock, rock
classics and more—great rock for the ages!
