Quest
Artist:  Pursuit
Label: Indie
Time: 1:06:25

Pursuit seems to be trying to pull off a '70's type prog style. Musically, the album is pretty strong. Some of the songs seem a little disjointed in parts, but it is usually pretty good. If this was an instrumental album, I would give it a 4 tock rating.

Unfortunately, the lyrics are not as strong as the music.

“Answer the Call”:

      Why, why won't you listen
      You can be forgiven
      Now, time for deciding
      You have to quit hiding

The lyrics are simplistically blatant in their religiosity. I don't have a problem with a band wanting to be up front about how they feel about there faith, but a little maturity in delivery wouldn't hurt.

Vocally the CD is a bit monotonous. Each song is delivered in the same fashion and tone.
