Artist: Stranger Lazy Label: Indie Time: 44:23 For a little while, Stranger Lazy almost got kicked out of the CD player. I found the first song a bit annoying. I chose to persevere and was rewarded with aural pleasure. Lighthearted sounds and soaring vocals lift you up and carry you away. The lyrics are a little disjointed. I was sometimes left wondering where they were headed, or how they got here in the first place. Here, as an example, is the opener from And I Punched It. This is a language,Then there's 3..4..5, which seems to be more cohesive. Life appears!Overall, this is an enjoyable, interesting CD from a bunch of guys who spend their spare time hunting quail and playing bocce ball. Justin Wright 03/12/06
