Randy Travis has been making music for more than 19 years.  Over that time he has amassed more than 24 million albums sold, and received five Grammy's, five Country Music Awards, in addition to six Gospel Music Dove Awards.  When he first recorded Inspirational Journeys in 2000, Travis had no idea that he would go on to create two more, Rise and Shine and Worship and Faith. 

Now he returns with Glory Train, which features a mix of modern praise and worship songs and traditional hymns. This is a rare project that will appeal to those who like hymns as well as those who like the more contemporary praise and worship songs.  For those who like hymns, Travis covers such familiar standards as "Nothing But the Blood," "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands,"  "O How I Love Jesus," and "Are You Washed in the Blood."  For those who are fans of praise and worship choruses, the album features modern classic "Shout to the Lord," "Heart of Worship," and "Here I Am to Worship."  Travis's raw, gritty voice adds a dynamic to these songs that makes them stand out from the countless other versions of these songs.  

With a mix of traditional hymns and more modern choruses and his unique voice, Randy Travis has delivered a project that will appeal to fans of both types of songs.
