The
Trust
Artist: The Trust Label: beazheadmusic Time: 51:58 The Trust started out as a guy named Herbie Hinkle, who started an ensemble, and then died. Or something like that. I'm not sure what the story is supposed to mean in the whole scheme of things, but that's where they came from. I think that I don't like this CD, but then I find myself bobbing along to the beat. That's when I realize what it is. I really like the bluesy, southern funk sound, but the vocals and lyrics can't hold up. “Telemarketing Song” has to be almost as annoying as the calls their complaining about. Jon Beazlie plays one heck of a guitar, but his voice is whiny and shallow. Justin Wright 09/19/2006
