Jazz. A label that has been over applied, and at many points watered down by the music machine.

Jazz. A musical expression of the soul.

Angelo LaTona is quite a guitar player. The music ebbs and flows from detailed succinct pieces to high-energy free form fuzz infused jams (reminiscent of Glass Harp). There may not be any vocals on this CD, but LaTona knows how to make a guitar talk.

The CD has a feel of a smoky jazz bar jam session. The only disappointing thing about this disc is that there is only twenty-six minutes of music here.

For fans of Methany, Keaggy, Earl Klugh.
