Artist: The Send
Label: T&N

Well I was definitely surprised, to say the least, at the sound that poured forth from my speakers on my humble pc when I sat down to listen to this album for the first time. And due to the surprise I listened to it in it's entirety in the same sitting.

Headed by Joe Kisselburgh, former guitarist for Falling Up, The Send leads you down a path of near hypnotic pop rock sounds. That lift you from the beginning to the middle and then slowly lay you back down at the end. It's like a really good movie with the proper amount of climax. I was extremely intrigued by the soft, melodic guitars, coupled with the heavy bass and drum overtones. This was a well thought out album. Song after song left me wanting to hear more, and it delivered itself unto my ears in a fashion never before experienced by this particular music lover. I can assure you that if you were to pick this album up you wouldn't let go of it any time soon. I am utterly amazed at the level of growth between Kisselburgh's talent in Falling Up and this new sound. I look forward to more of this group in the future and as soon as this thing hits the shelf, I will be all over it.
