Mood Enhancement
Artist: Sivion
Label: Illect Recordings

Sivion is yet another member of the infamous deepspace5 crew. These guys are relentless in their attack of the music industry.  They keep releasing these amazing projects on the solo side. Take Mars Ill for instance not less than two solo records in the game, sintax…two solo projects. Where does the energy come from?  Well one thing for sure is that if Sivion keeps putting records like this on the market, we won’t have to worry about where he will be in the next couple years. Right on top with the rest of the group. This album is in no small way a legendary product in the making. I put it in and immediately was swept away but the melodic groove beats, heavy bass lines, and clean, sharp lyrics laced with a distinct voice that could only be his.  The album features some heavy hitters in the community as well, take for instance Down But Never Out featuring deepspace5 crew, Let Me featuring his first crew Phat K.A.T.S, which he co-emceed with his twin brother Wushu, and Phonetic Composition. There is also a track that features Keynote, Travii the 7th, and Blaze Won. The record as a whole is described as a musical journey through every nook and cranny of His heart. From hearing the record in its entirety it would appear that this guy has a deep and poetic heart. Each track comes in and lays out a portion of how life is and how it could be. Giving the listener hope for a better tomorrow, no matter what situation they are in at the time they are listening.  You can find Sivion at www.illect.com, www.sivion.net, as well as www.mypsace.com/sivion. Go check it out.

I am sure that as a member of a crew like deepspace5 we are sure to see more solo albums from Sivion, and if they are anything like this record, or similar in composition to his fellow crew members, I am sure the industry will eat it up like warm buttered toast and jam…..
