The votes are cast and tabulated for The Phantom Tollbooth's May 2007 Top 10 poll, and for the third month in a row, there are no ties! Mute Math stays in the top slot with an overwhelming number of votes for its self-titled project. Ashley Cleveland's Before the Daylight's Shot moves up one notch to number two, and Starflyer 59 and Neal Morse slip into the runners-up category. Returning to the poll is Jars of Clay with Good Monsters. Shuffling slightly and returning to the Top 10 are Arcade Fire (moving up three places), Arcade Fire, The Brothers Martin, Future of Forestry, The Fray, and Anberlin. New entires are Tinariwen's Water is Life, debuting at number three, and Wilco's Sky Blue Sky. The only entry to slip out of the runners-up category is Hyper Static Union's Lifegiver. Want to bring it back? Remember to vote for your favorite albums you have listened to during the month of June--send your votes to top10@tollbooth.org for the monthly Phantom Tollbooth Top 10 survey.
