Prelude to Arrows
Artist: The Myriad
Record Label: Koch Records

Prelude to Arrows, the newest release from musical geniuses The Myriad, is an EP that is not only highly anticipated, but meets and exceeds all expectations. The EP shows us elements that bring back memories of You Can't Trust A Ladder, as well as incorporates new elements.

The band has not been sitting idle either. Instead they have been busy at work, recently touring with David Crowder and Phil WIckham on the Remedy Club Tour, as well as making a name for themselves on a recent MTV music contest. Keep an eye out for them, as big things are going on.

Songs to check out on the EP are "A Thousand Winters Melting," "We Will Be Disappointed Together," and "The Holiest of Thieves," The album is a great pick overall. It has, quite honestly, quickly become one of my favorites. The album ends with a preview to the Spring release, With Arrows, With Poise, and it offers nothing but a glimpse into the future of The Myriad, which with that song, looks to be a very bright future. As you listen, take in the lyrics - they are powerful, and words, even by the most eloquent writer, which I am not, cannot describe the vast array of powerful emotion expressed in them.

The Myriad may have a new album, a new label, but rest assure, they do have a bright future and an amazing gift.
