Philmont is one of the newest bands signed to Forefront Records. Oh Snap EP is meant to be an introduction to the North Carolina band and what a first impression it makes.

I have to say that all fives tracks on this EP are single worthy. They immediately make Philmont contenders in the pop-punk race. I hate when people say that a band is the Christian version of (insert “secular” band). Let’s for this review’s purpose say that Philmont is a perfect addition to the record collections of the All American Rejects and Relient K fans.

Until their full debut album drops in early 2009, Philmont fans are going to have to hit the repeat button and listen to this EP over and over.
