Letters To God Soundtrack 2010
Bonded Records BN0 1-1
Disc One: 12 Tracks (42 minutes)
Disc Two: 11 Tracks (40 minutes)

The film Letters To God is based on a true story from Patrick Doughtie and directed by David Nixon. It concerns a young boy (Tanner Maguire) who is undergoing treatment for cancer and writes letters to God. The letters are intercepted by a mailman (Jeffrey S. S. Johnson) and soon, the letters are having a positive effect on many people.

The soundtrack for Letters to God is on two discs, with the main themes composed by Colin O’Malley, and additional songs from a host of artists listed above. Total listening time for the two discs is 82 minutes, which certainly puts the listener into a meditative, prayerful mood. O’Malley’s lush, main orchestral theme provides the audience with a relaxing, attentive mood, carried throughout the film.

Highlight vocals on Disc One include The Warren Brothers with “Dear Mr. God,” J. R. Richards and “A Beautiful End” plus Addison Road with “Hope Now.”  Disc Two has Between The Trees with “We Can Try,” Wintley Phipps with a moving version of “Amazing Grace” and Paul Coleman’s “He Is Alive,” which is one of seven bonus tracks at the end of Disc Two.

The arrangement of the songs on the CD’s seamlessly leads you from one into another, so you get the ambience of faith and hope. A job well done.
