Bride News
Many of you have gone on line and have down loaded the new single "Blow it all away." Now you have the opportunity to listen to another song from the new CD by visiting http://www.bridepub.com/download2.htm Bride has not been home very long. Bride toured Germany and Norway recently and were truly blessed by the support received. Both the German and Norwegians alike were ministered the truth of reconciliation and that there is salvation in no other name than Jesus Christ. They were encouraged to seek first the Kingdom of God and to live in the provisions which Father has provided through His many promises. The Word went forth from the stage to open spiritual ears to the voice of God and to be comforted by the Holy Spirit in the words which Father spoke to each heart. Most of all, everyone was encouraged to walk in love as Christ has loved us and given Himself for us a ransom for all to be testified in due time (1 Timothy 2:6). Williams, who has been a part of the conference since its launch in fall 2002, is slated for upcoming Minneapolis (Oct. 17 & 18), Louisville, Ky. (Oct. 24 & 25) and Oklahoma City (Nov. 7 & 8) dates. “I’m really looking forward to spending time with Terry, Shelley, Denise, and Heather of Point of Grace, as well as with the girls coming to the event. I’ve been on the last two and love that the weekends are set up to encourage relationship. I’ve been able to share in the lives of the some of the girls at these events and that’s especially meaningful,” says Ms. Williams. Point of Grace started the conferences in fall 2002 to encourage teenaged girls to be Godly in every aspect of their lives. Williams has been involved with “Girls of Grace” as a musical guest since its launch. “Girls of Grace” is a two-day conference designed specifically for girls between the ages of 12 and 18 intended to focus on issues facing youth. The event is led by award-winning recording group Point of Grace and also features speakers Nancy Alcorn, founder and president of Mercy Ministries, Susie Shellenberger, editor of BRIO magazine for girls, and Angela Davis, author of Do You Think I am Beautiful. In addition to the “Girls of Grace” conferences, Williams will be out on a 13-city fall tour with Gotee Recording group The Katinas. Hip-Hop Label Debuts Its First Artist: Stu Dent
Illect is definitely putting in work to release some future classics.
The word about us is spreading. Illect Recordings (pronounced "ill-ekt")

Stu Dent "Nephilim: Act of
God"
The Story Behind Stu Dent Behind Stu Dent is a fictional character inspired by the book of Genesis. You know when you meet someone for the first time and you get the strange feeling that you've met that person before? There's something about them that's very familiar, but you can't quite put your finger on it. Are you ready to have that feeling again? Born the son of Beth and fathered by Sephanin, a fallen Son of God from Genensis 6, Stu Dent is what you would call "Nephilim" - a half man / half angelic being. As the story goes, Noah was called to build an Ark to save mankind and animals from history's greatest flood. And although Noah and his family were the only humans intended to represent mankind in that unique vessle, what if a small child - albeit, not quite mortal - also made it on to the Ark? Shem was one of Noah's sons who loved the Lord and obeyed his father, Noah. But in one exceptional act of compassion, Shem decided to help a strange, orphaned boy onto the Ark before its doors were shut and its mass was lifted up by the flooding rains. Anyhow, it's just a story... now let's put it into Hip-Hop. It's beats and lyrics that make a song, but emotion and cadence capture a listener's ears, carrying that music to their hearts. Stu Dent brings a new slant to the Christian Hip-Hop culture, with a symphony of the unexpected. Let Stu Dent show you the other side of Hip-Hop where the matrix seems more like a game of connect four. Let's bring you back to the village of Hebron. The Album "Nephilim" is full of challenging lyrics that urge the listener to move boldly toward what God has in store for them. The lead single, "That's It", says it all... "We need to stop griping, pick up broken pieces, release anger and not fight, focus on Jesus". He brings words of hope, and words that force us to confront ourselves head on and consider the seriousness of Christ's call. That's it. Nephilim is the debut release from illect recordings - a group
inspired to bring all Hip-Hop fans excellent artistry and genuine spirituality,
without compromise. We envision the illect as a growing community of both
artists and the audience, who will all come together ultimately to seek
God's Kingdom in those things Hip-Hop and not.

Morella's
Forest To Be Featured On TV and Film
The band's song "Lullaby" is also being used on the second season DVD release of Dawson's Creek, the popular television series that wrapped it's sixth and final season earlier this year Dawson's Creek also featured the appearance of "Shining Stars" by MoFo on an episode last February as well. All of these songs were taken from their Big Beef/Endearing Records CD release Tiny Lights of Heaven. A new film by independent filmmaker Gagan Singh entitled Lillies, which has recently wrapped up production and has a planned release date for next year, is also using material from Tiny Lights. Featured in the film soundtrack is the song and album closer "Never Let Go." Both the album version as well as the Ti-Mo Mix version (which appears exlusively on the Japanese-only release of TLOH) will be featured in the film (along with songs by REAL LULU, another great female-frontedband that were Dayton rock contemporaries of Morella's Forest throughout the 90's). --NEW CD RELEASES--Speaking of that Japanese release of Tiny Lights of Heaven, we'll be getting back with you again soon on that and some other new developments. The band's Asian release of TLOH on abcdefg* records features all new art with exclusive bonus tracks and even lyrics (in Japanese, though, so get out your translation manuals). The band was also featured on the latest Tonevendor/Clairecords compliation CD Test Tones Vol. 2. This well-done new CD features the exclusive commercial appearance of the non-CD version of "Hopeless," along with 23 other great tracks (including a song from Morella's Big Beef Records labelmates the LAB PARTNERS). Both of these releases will be available from Big Beef Records in time for the holidays! For more information, including on-line catalogs and ordering forms,

Relient
K Set to Release Deck the Halls, Bruise Your Hand November 4
NASHVILLE, Tenn.—9/29/03—Gotee Records’ recording artist Relient K is gearing up for the release of its very first Christmas CD, Deck the Halls, Bruise Your Hand, slated to hit store shelves Nov. 4. The Christmas CD will be packaged along with the band’s current top-selling album, Two Lefts Don’t Make a Right, But Three Do. The special Christmas combination package will feature the fifth and final limited-edition cover of Two Lefts Don’t Make a Right, making it a valuable collector’s item. Deck the Halls, Bruise Your Hand features seven Christmas favorites performed with the inimitable Relient K twist, including “Deck the Halls,” “Handel’s Messiah,” “Twelve Days of Christmas,” “Away in a Manger” and more. The project also includes three original holiday offerings: “I Celebrate the Day, “Santa Clause is Thumbing to Town” and “I Hate Christmas Parties.” “This August we ate a couple thousand sno-cones to get us in the Christmassy state of mind necessary to record a bunch of holiday favorites (and originals) for our Deck The Halls, Bruise Your Hand album,” says Relient K’s Matt Thiessen. “We're all more than jolly about the way that this recording turned out, and we really HO-HO-HOpe everyone who hears it enjoys it as well.” Relient K’s Two Lefts Don’t Make a Right, But Three Do sold more than 30,000 copies its first week out of the box, and has gone on to sell more than 200,000 units so far in just six months. The album was originally released with four innovative limited-edition covers, and the new Christmas edition will complete the set. With three albums released to date, Relient K has reached combined sales of more than half a million albums worldwide. The band’s smash hit “Chap Stick, Chapped Lips, and Things Like Chemistry” landed in the upper half of the college radio charts for more than two months before crossing over to commercial alternative radio, and the song’s video has aired on music television networks like MTV2, Much Music and FUSE. Relient K is currently headlining the Everybody Wants to Rule the World Tour with Anberlin and Don’t Look Down. The 35-city tour runs through the end of November. 'Imisi
Releases Debut CD with Production Help from Christafari and Big Moutain
In Tonga (an island near Samoa and Fiji), 'Imisi means "image," for man was created in the "image of God" (Gen 1:27). Made in His image, people of all cultures and languages reflect something of His likeness and through the powerful music of this diverse Polynesian group we have been given a unique vision of the Father. 'Imisi is headed by brothers David (Tevita Ka) Fohe, Jubilee (Siupeli Koula) Fohe and Joel Roberts. 'Imisi has been compared to everyone from Luciano to Gregory Isaacs, and labeled by some as "The Reggae Katinas." The CD took two years to record and was produced by some of the top names in the secular and gospel reggae markets, including Quino from Big Mountain (the best selling U.S. reggae group) and Mark Mohr from Christafari (the best selling gospel reggae group). With their strong introduction on Visions of the Father (which initially appeared as a standout track on Christafari’s Gravity album), 'Imisi has already established themselves as the voice of island music and the future of gospel reggae. Fusing an unshakably God-centered message with the full intricacies of bona-fide Jamaican reggae, these Pacific Islanders from the Kingdom of Tonga are in great contrast with the message of today's top secular reggae acts. Yet, given their island heritage and the Christian nation that they hail from, this profound gospel group is earning respect in the least likely of places with their clean production, solid vocals and uncompromising faith. 'Imisi performed at the 2002 Winter Olympics, and has already amassed a strong fan base selling 10,000 copies of an independently released CD. Promotional plans include general market publicity to reggae and world music publications, radio promotion to CCM and Reggae formats, and heavy touring including major Christian and secular festivals, and U.S. tour dates with Christafari in 2003-2004. Visions of the Father is available today in all quality Christian
book/music stores nationwide and direct from www.lionofzion.com.

Plus One is Online
Exodus, the new album from Plus One, releases November 18 on Inpop Records. Under the watchful eye and production talents of Peter Furler of the Newsboys, Exodus takes the band to a harder edge, adding a huge rock element to their pop sensibilities. Since 2000, Plus One has successfully carved a place for themselves in the Christian pop genre, winning the 2001 Dove Award for Best New Artist and selling in excess of a million units. Exodus will certainly bridge the gap between the pop and rock world for the band. Plus One is currently co-headlining the Festival Con Dios tour PlusOneOnline.com promises to act as a lifeline to the band. Aside from the normal web offerings of news, photos and tour dates, fans will have many ways to interact, through message boards, contests and a variety of other technology to be unveiled at a later date. Steve Ford, General Manager of Inpop Records explains the strategy behind the site: “When we sat down with BuzzPlant to strategize the goal for the Plus One site we had a desired look and feel that we want to accomplish. BuzzPlant was able to not only speak into the plan to give additional input but they were able to over deliver what we wanted. The high level of design esthetics and customer relations is a very rare combination in today’s business environment. And they delivered on time and in budget!” .

Christopher Wright Update
Dear Friends-
The long-awaited Live CD is now with the duplicators and will be hitting Christian bookstore shelves and websites the first week of November!! This project was a concert sponsored by our dear friends at Evangel Church in Scotch Plains, NJ. It was recorded live with my band, and includes some funny stories as well as Amanda's testimony and another duet with Lauren. There were a number of delays, not the least of which was Amanda's hospitalization, as well as some trials in the processing of the CD, but we're trusting that this is the Lord's timing. As a dear friend emailed me recently, this project would make a great Christmas gift, so maybe that's part of what the delay was about. :-) Look for more info about the CD in the next email update... Finally, may I just ask that you continue praying for our family? I have seen the Lord move in miraculous ways with Amanda as you have prayed, and we are currently facing some serious financial difficulty. I'm not asking for money- just that you pray. We had to cancel a number of concerts while Amanda was in the hospital, and one in September was canceled by a church last minute. Then our Caravan of 175,000 miles and three transmissions died. Then the real kicker- our tax bill of 3,300 dollars arrived. We had refinanced last year, which was good, but I had forgotten that back when we did this we stopped escrowing our taxes, which was bad. All of these bills with only one concert scheduled for the rest of the year make things look rather overwhelming. Though I serve full-time at Calvary Fellowship, my concert ministry income was reduced in order to accept that position, so it's actually the same in total income as it was when I only did concerts. So when our concert ministry income goes away, it's a significant hardship. But we know the Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills, amen? And in eight years of being a musical missionary, with a wife and four children (one now in college) and a mortgage, He has always provided all we have ever needed, so we continue to walk by faith in the One who is faithful. Thanks again for your prayers and love. It means so much to know you're there and we cannot thank you enough for co-laboring with us in this ministry! May the Lord bless you as you have so blessed our lives. Hope to see ya Saturday! All by His grace and for His glory,
