Ever wonder how Jars of Clay would sound with a female vocalist, or how Sixpence None the Richer's this beautiful mess would have sounded like with a touch of sequencing?  Look no further.  Serry's 4 song EP answers both those questions.

This two-person effort (Sarah Mayberry on lead and backing vocals, Anthony Gravley on everything else) runs circles around similar bands' efforts.  From the opening notes of "Trust You" through the rest of the disc, one is treated too an understated wall of sound supported angelically by Mayberry's vocals (Leigh Nash, watch out).

Unfortunately, the EP's one weakness lies in largely indiscernible lyrics, and a lyric sheet isn't provided. One only catches snippets here and there, underneath the guitar work.

In all this is a stronger than average indie effort that leaves one wishing for more, and hopefully that wish will be granted
