This, Sara's second offering, has a nice light rock to country sound.A pleasing voice and good mixing provide for easy listening. Her voice has a youthful character and reminds me of some of the early Amy Grant recordings. All of the instruments are performed well and the production is nearly flawless.
Disappointingly the recordings have nothing remarkable to note. Each track is produced to be deliberately mainstream and offers very little to challenge the ear. Equally deliberate is the comfort level of the lyrics. No troubling or thought provoking uniqueness to the message. The music follows the "formula" for mainstream CCM albums and offers few surprises to the listener.
